Jesus mandate to His disciples was to go and reach the lost and introduce them to a relationship with Christ. God’s desire is that all will be saved and we all as believers have a role in that.

The mission of the church is twofold. Firstly, we need to connect with each other. As we build valuable relationships with each other, God will use us to build and encourage each other in life and in our relationship with God. Secondly, we are all a part of reaching a lost and broken world. God wants to equip you to be effective in reaching out to the unsaved just as someone was a part of introducing you to the Lord.

BRIGHT, RELEVANT & POWERFUL

Every church has a particular culture or style that makes it different to another church. No culture or style is necessarily wrong. At Life Church we seek to be relevant to every generation in a fun relaxed atmosphere without compromising the Gospel.

MESSAGE

FAITH, HOPE & LOVE
The message we proclaim is Faith, Hope and Love through Jesus Christ. The Gospel is the “Good News” of what Jesus did on the Cross-for our sins. We choose to demonstrate our message not only with words, but also with our actions.

OUR VALUES

1.    Prayer
Prayer is the “Powerhouse” of our Christian faith. It is our vital connection to God and to having a real, living relationship with Him. Prayer is also the foundation upon which we do anything in the life of the Church.

2.    Evangelism
We believe that Salvation is for everyone. We do not want to become a church that constantly looks inwards, but rather a church the looks outwards and actively seek to reach out to the lost.

3.    Cosmopolitan
We are a cosmopolitan church that believes that no matter what your colour, age, financial status or history, you are welcome. Yet while we accept and encourage diversity, we do not compromise on our Christian beliefs and morals. 

4.    Love
As a church we want to be known by our Christ-love amongst each other and in the community. We treat everyone as equals and with the same respect. We choose to love because Christ loved us first.

5.    Leadership
As a church we need to be leaders in the world, not just people who are being led. We place a high emphasis on leadership and leadership development in Life Church and believe that everyone is meant to be a leader in some area of life.

6.    Worship
We are a worshipping church who chooses to worship God through our lifestyle and with our mouths. The Bible says God desires the praises of His people and we love to praise Him as a church.

7.    Equipping
We believe that every member of the body of Christ is called to be an effective minister of the Gospel and as a church our primary focus is to equip you effectively to be able to fulfill the destiny that God has for your life.

8.    Community outreach
We seek to be relevant to our community as a church by understanding the communities need and then being a part of the solution in whatever way we can. Our church and people need to be a beacon of hope to our community.

9.    Biblically based
We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God and that everything that is written in it, we believe to be true. The Bible instructs us on how to live our lives before God and we believe all our teaching to be Biblically true.

10.    Stewardship
We believe that we are biblically accountable before God and the church for the stewardship of our time and resources. God has chosen stewardship to be channeled through the local church (storehouse) as His chief means to accomplish the purposes He has for the earth.
