There are a number of courses that will be running over the next few months and these WILL HELP you to make a difference, to be THE CHANGE. Invest in yourself to give to others.

LIFE EQUIPING

2009 2nd Semester
 
1. Basic Foundations

Focuses on becoming strong in your belief and building a solid biblical foundation.

Time: 7 - 8pm
Cost: R20
Date: 28 July - 25 Aug (5 weeks)
 
2. Spiritual Victory

This course will help you to take strides in your Christian walk as you start taking off baggage of the past and understanding healing to the whole person.

Time: 7 - 8pm

3. Evangelism

This course will focus on finding God's heart for people and how we can co-partner with Him in reaching out to others and being active in our community.

Time: 7 - 8:30pm

Date: 1 Sept - 15 Sept (3 weeks)
 
4. Network

This course is a dynamic program to help Christians understand who God has uniquely made them to be and mobilise them to a place of meaningful service in the local church. It helps you identify three elements of who you are:

Your passion ('where' y ou are motivated to serve)
Spiritual gifts ('what' you are equipped to do)
Personal Style ('how' you can best serve)

5. Lifestyle Leadership

How do you lead in every area of your life? Business? Family? College? School? Friendship groups? The community? This course will teach you practical ways of leading in these areas as you learn the influence you can be in life.

HIV/AIDS support group

An HIV/Aids support group is being run at the LIFE Church premises by Johan Obbes who has been diagnosed being HIV positive himself in 2002. The group is a closed group consisting only of men and women being HIV positive. The group is open to everyone and the aim is to give a safe and confidential space for people living with HIV/ Aids to share their lives, but also to give them some prayer support should they ask for it. The group will meet every third Saturday of the month at 2pm at the LIFE Church premises, unless otherwise specified. The group will also be educated on how to live a POSITVE life, being informed on medication and resources available to them in their communities.
